Inception & Project Brief
Advising the client on the appointment of consultants, economic factors, and financial design criteria. We assist in developing the project brief — defining scope, quality, cost, and time objectives — and provide preliminary cost advice to inform early decision-making.

Concept & Viability
Establishing procurement policy, cost control procedures, and reporting requirements. We prepare preliminary and elemental estimates, assess financial viability, and advise on funding and cash flow requirements to ensure the project concept is commercially sound.

Design Development
Reviewing designs and specifications for cost implications, maintaining detailed cost estimates and area schedules, and monitoring financial viability as the design evolves. We ensure alignment between design intent and budget through continuous cost control and value management.

Documentation & Procurement
Developing the procurement strategy, preparing tender documentation — including bills of quantities and pricing schedules — and conducting financial evaluation of tenders. We advise on contractor selection, prepare contract documentation, and ensure appropriate risk allocation.

Construction
Managing cash flow schedules, preparing variation estimates, and maintaining rigorous financial control throughout the build phase. We conduct progress payment valuations, adjudicate contractual claims, prepare interim financial statements, and work towards the timeous agreement of final accounts.

Close-out & Final Account
Completing payment certificate valuations, settling final accounts with all contracting parties, and preparing a comprehensive close-out report. We ensure all financial obligations are resolved and provide final cost reconciliation for project records and future benchmarking.
